What shall your end be? What have you been doing? What have you been saying? Are you walking the broad or the narrow road?
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” St. Matthew 7:13,14
Jezebel is an example of someone who was full of darkness. She was characterized with a manipulating, controlling spirit and was determined to destroy the prophets of God.
“For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)” 1 Kings 18:4 Jezebel went on to threaten Elijah after his victory on Mount Carmel. “And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.
Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by
to morrow about this time.” 1 Kings 19:1,2
Jezebel was a witch her husband Ahab joined her in her evil. “And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?” 2 Kings 9:22 “But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.”
God pronounced judgment on Jezebel. “And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.” 1 Kings 21:25 As was prophesied Jezebel, touched God’s anointed and she had a horrible end. “And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
Wherefore they came again, and told him. And he said, This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel.” 2 Kings 9:35, 36 What shall your end be?
Judas was one of Jesus’ disciples. Jesus knew that Judas would betray him.
The spirit of Judas is rampant in all areas of society, the church, the workplace, social settings and the home. Many are selling out their families and friends, for money just as Judas did. “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”
1 Timothy 6:10 The love of money and the spirit of greed comes packaged with MANY SORROWS.
Judas had a horrible end.
“Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.” St. Matthew 27:3-5 “…the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him.” St. John 13:2
What is in your heart? Is your heart right with God? What shall your end be?

SINNER’S PRAYER
If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and would like to accept Him today, please say the following prayer.
Dear God,
In the name of Jesus Christ, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I need a Savior.
Forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Your Word says in Romans 10:9 and 10 that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, I shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
I now confess Jesus Christ as Lord of my life.
In Jesus’ Name, amen.
